Nobody knows how to run the company, they give their managers zero say in anything OTHER than to constantly just watch you. It’s their ridiculous way or nothing at all. If you have an idea to make things easier, just keep it to yourself. It gets left on all of the entry level employees. The company grows CONSTANTLY but doesn’t care that they don’t have enough bandwidth to cover the extra work. The system they use literally shows them every second of every day and if you do anything out of order, even if it makes ZERO sense, then they are on zoom messaging you immediately. They don’t seem to have any real job other than to watch your every move made. The managers are basically just micro managers. Most of the 2 years I worked there… they hired management externally even if you have been there and know the the job better than any external hire would. It’s a depressing job across all spectrums. No one will listen, no one will advocate, no one will try. Īny Issue, complaint, need, or work/company related circumstances brought to ANY managers attention ultimately falls on deaf ears and goes unaddressed. The work is dead ended as well ,as stated before day in and day out showing up to run down disgusting houses with angry tenants and NOT being allowed to make a difference, not being paid enough to want to. No positions available for advancement, therefore no reasons for Vinebrook to offer more money. The pay/labor ratio is extremely low compared to the knowledge needed and the work expected and Vinebrook will not hear any reasons to pay more. Managers don’t notice or care, and there is no reward or compensation for doing so. Most of the time it felt pointless to try to make a difference, knowing that management will stop whatever progress you’re trying to make. In the mean time, this makes performing duties on the job loathsome and stressful. When putting together a game plan to address the rundown nature of the houses, it almost always gets turned down or put at a stand still due to costs, per upper management. Most of the homes I entered were dilapidated and disgusting. Spending minimal amounts to upkeep the homes they provide for rent.
